Vehicle Architecture

A car's architecture is its core, and Geely lays the foundations for creating the vehicles of the future by developing advanced modular vehicle architectures.

GEA

GEA's global smart new-energy architecture is the world's first four-in-one intelligent AI architecture combining “hardware, system, ecology and AI”. It delivers major advances in spatial design, smart energy, integrated safety, AI intelligence and driving performance. It supports full electrification with options such as pure electric, hybrid, range extension and green methanol, giving users a wide and flexible range of power choices.

CMA

The Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) was born at China Euro Vehicle Technology AB (CEVT). More than 2,000 leading automotive engineers from 25 countries devoted three years to developing CMA. Since its launch, CMA has earned a total of 609 patents, embodying outstanding engineering ingenuity. Thanks to CMA's five global genes — safety, intelligence, performance and energy saving — Geely Auto developed this architecture and holds a safe lead in quality and performance among its competitors.

BMA

The B-segment Modular Architecture (BMA) is a compact modular architecture developed independently by Geely for global use. It took four years to develop BMA with nearly 100 experts from more than 20 countries who have extensive experience in the development and management of modular architecture projects.

SEA

It took researchers four years to develop the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), with a total investment of 18 billion CNY, featuring a three-in-one layout of hardware level, system level and ecological level. SEA has the widest bandwidth in the world, covering the design needs of all types of cars from A-segment to E-segment in full sizes. It can provide the most efficient solutions for smart electric vehicles and shorten the development period of software-defined vehicles by more than 50%.

Manufacturing

Geely operates vehicle and engine production facilities across China in places such as Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Chengdu, Jinzhong and Xi'an. Geely currently uses these facilities to produce a full range of models, including SUVs, sedans and crossovers.

5G Factory

The hyper-connected 5G factory can produce 30 cars in one hour (1 car every 2 minutes) with the help of automated robots that keep everything running smoothly, without interruption.

The factory is fully automated thanks to various devices and cloud services that monitor inventory levels and production status. If stock is low, the robots are activated and deliver the relevant parts.

Black Light Factory

The Black Light factory in Xi'an requires no manual operation, which is handed over to robots that ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.

In addition to CMA-based products, the factory can also produce SEA-based products, covering different models of pure electric, hybrid and traditional fuel vehicles.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Geely believes that the creation, development and continuous operation of a business should not only generate economic value but also social value and fulfil its social obligations, all of which are important and necessary.

Carbon Neutrality Goals

Geely is convinced that sustainability will become a key driving force for innovation and future development, and that environmental protection will play an important role in achieving this. That is why we announced the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2045 and reducing the carbon emissions of the entire vehicle life cycle by 25% by 2025.

Charity Foundation

The charity foundation is an important platform for Geely to participate in and develop social welfare initiatives. Geely will organise, launch and promote social welfare through institutional design and sustainable development. With the foundation, Geely will provide assistance in emergencies and disasters, support for the arts and culture, rural revitalisation, and fair, high-quality education.

Blue Guardian Project

Through satellite technology, ocean clean-up operations and education, a tripartite cooperation system will be created to monitor and prevent marine litter, raising awareness of the importance of protecting marine ecology and helping to build a maritime community with a shared future.
